Films, Music & Performing Arts

British Council and Doha Film Institute are partnering to screen two films – Attack the Block (Thursday and Friday at 7pm) and Wallace and Grommit (Friday and Saturday 4pm). Both films will be screened at the Museum of Islamic Art auditorium. Tickets for Attack the Block are available at the Doha Film Institute website and tickets for Wallace and Grommit are available here or at the Museum of Islamic Art’s DFI ticket outlet.

Experience the magic of the symphony in a performance by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Han-Na Chang with Julian Quentin on the piano. Weber, Ravel and Shostakovich will be performed on Saturday at 7.30pm at the Qatar National Convention Centre. Tickets are priced at QR50 and are available on the Virgin Megastore website. The 4th Annual May Ball organized by the German Business Council Qatar at the Hilton Doha on Friday is a good chance for you to dress up to the nines.
