Vodafone 4G available for free on all compatible devices from June 3
Starting tomorrow, June 3, Vodafone’s 4G network will now be automatically available to all customers with a 4G enabled device. There’s no subscription fees, Vodafone announced at the launch event today.
The network has been enabled in “most inhabited” areas of Qatar. These include: Doha, The Pearl-Qatar, West Bay, Lagoona, Lusail City, Corniche, Sea Line and Mesaieed.
Rival telecom company, Ooredoo made its 4G network free in February this year upon the completion of its nation-wide 4G network. Prior to this, the network came at a cost of QR60 per month for Shahry customers, and QR15 per week for Hala customers.
