It’s estimated that nearly 10,000 people have died in what is now considered the deadliest natural calamity the Philippines has ever suffered. Super typhoon Haiyan has destroyed the lives of more than 4.3 million people and ravaged approximately 80 percent homes in Tacloban and its surrounding areas.
Experts believe the island country does not have enough resources to deal with a disaster of this magnitude.
