Quality experiences matter, not luxury items for majority of Qataris
When it comes to spending money, about 72% of affluent Qataris prefer quality experiences to luxury possessions, a survey by Heathrow Airport’s VIP Service has revealed.
According to the survey, the major factor for choosing experiences were privacy (91%), while nearly 19% said it helped them gain time to relax.
The results of the survey, published in the Gulf Times, also disclosed that age and profession played a role in preferences. For instance, those working in finance, banking and professional services were the ones to choose experiences. Similarly, older individuals with children or at a senior position were most likely to opt for experiences over luxury items.
