Qatar Airways to launch Frankfurt as first A350 route
Qatar Airways is set to receive its first A350 Xtra Wide Body (XWB) aircraft, before the end of this year. Following this, it will introduce the aircraft’s first commercial service to the German business hub city of Frankfurt.
Frankfurt will be operated non-stop daily with an A350 starting from January next year. Currently Qatar Airways flies twice-daily to Frankfurt, and the double pairings will both be operated by an A350 on the route.
Qatar Airways has 80 Airbus A350s on order. By the end of next year, at least eight production aircrafts will join its fleet, the airline has announced.
