Guide to working hours during Ramadan

Starting next week, most offices in Qatar will have shorter working hours because of Ramadan. The Holy Month of Ramadan is likely to start from Saturday, June 28.

Here’s a list of work timings for important government offices and stores.

Government Offices
Ministry of Interior has announced a few of its major departments will operate in two shifts.  
 The Public Administration of Borders Passport and Expatriates Affairs and the Department of Citizenship and Travel Documents 8am until 1pm and from 9pm until 1am
 The Traffic Department 9am to 2pm and from 9pm till 1am
The Fingerprinting Section at external services 8am till 1pm and from 9pm to 1am
The Fingerprinting Section at Industrial Area (for companies) will work in 3 shifts 8am to 1pm, 1pm to 6pm and 8pm to 1am
Hamad General Hospital  
Outpatient Department 8am-1pm, 8:30pm-11pm
Outpatient Pharmacy 8am-2pm
Diabetic Pharmacy and Pediatric Pharmacy 8am-1pm
Qatar National Bank 9am-12noon (For branches in malls: 9am-12noon, 8pm-12am)
 International Bank of Qatar (IBQ)  9am-2pm (Sunday to Thursday)
 Commercial Bank  7.30am-1pm (For branches in malls: 9am-12noon, 8:30pm-12am (Saturday to Thursday); 8:30pm-midnight (Friday)
 Doha Bank  8am-1:30pm (For branches in malls: 8am-1:30pm, 8:30pm-10:30pm)
Museum of Islamic Art Until 13 July (8pm-12am); Closed on Tuesdays & Fridays
Closed from 13 July, re-open 2nd day of Eid
Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays (11am-3pm)
Wednesdays & Saturdays (11am-3pm; 8pm-midnight)
Closed on Tuesdays & Fridays
Note: The Museum will be closed to the public the last 5 days of Ramadan, and the first three days of Eid.

 General Post Office (West Bay), Mumtaz(EMS) Post, Teyseer, Al Rayyan(1&2), Al Mirghab, Al Aziziya, Al Kharthiyat, Al Meera( Al Mansoorah), Al Wakrah, Souq Al Ali, Al Munthazah, Abdul Aziz Al Ahmed St and Alkhor Post offices Sunday – Thursday (9am-2pm; 9pm-12am)
Saturday (9am-12pm; 9pm-12am)

Woqod Station(Umm Salal), Khalifa town(North), Al Shahaniya, Al Shamal, Mesaieed and Dukhan Post Offices Sunday – Thursday (9am-2pm)
