About 295 road accidents involved during this year’s camping season in Qatar
This year’s camping season that concluded on April 18 witnessed about 295 road accidents at the Sealine Area.
According to Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC)’s Ambulance Service, a total of 893 calls were received, from which 295 involved road accidents while 193 were for trauma cases, including 30 serious injuries. About 683 patients were treated at the Sealine Medical Clinic for fever, stomach aches, wounds, burns, bone fractures and heart attacks, From the total number of patients, 600 were adult males, 46 were females while 36 were children, The Peninsula has reported.
The medical clinic at Sealine was opened in November last year, and operated on a weekly basis from 3:00 pm every Thursday until 5:00 pm every Saturday during the camping season.
