Daytime dining options for non-fasting residents this Ramadan

While most restaurants are closed during the day during the Holy Month of Ramadan, there are quite a few restaurants and cafes offering dine-in or take-away options.

Here’s a list of all the restaurants that will be open for breakfast and lunch during the day.

La Varenne, Tornado Tower

Enjoy a lovely breakfast and lunch with a gorgeous view from the 28th floor of the Tornado Tower. Their breakfast a la carte options include a number of healthy, baked and hot food and they also have a wide selection of teas to choose from.

Hours during Ramadan:
Breakfast: 7 am – 12 noon (buffet); Lunch: 12 noon – 3 pm (a la carte)

Crowne Plaza Doha – The Business Park
Aramede, the all-day dining restaurant at Crowne Plaza Doha will serve an international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner during Ramadan.

Four Seasons Hotel Doha
Il Teatro is the only restaurant at the hotel to serve food during the day at the hotel. The restaurant features contemporary Italian cusine.

Breakfast: 6.30am to 10.30am (buffet); Lunch: 12 noon to 3pm (a la carte)

The Apres Spa Cafe will also be open from 8am to 10pm.

Grand Hyatt Doha
The poolside restaurant Rocca will be open to hotel guests and visitors from outside breakfast and lunch.

Kempinski Residences & Suites Doha
Enjoy a nice breakfast and lunch in this cosy but very stylish interiors of the Kempinski’s Aroma restaurant. Watch out, the large mirror that you will see when you enter the hotel is actually the door to this comfortable place.

Sharq Village & Spa
Al Liwan restaurant at Sharq Village which usually functions as a buffet restaurant will serve breakfast and lunch, however with only a la carte options during the daytime in Ramadan. Dinner, though will feature an Iftar buffet spread priced at QR250 per person.

Breakfast: 6.30am to 10.30am; Lunch: 12noon to 3.30pm (Only a la carte for breakfast & buffet)

Oryx Rotana
Jazz Club at Oryx Rotana will both serve breakfast and lunch during the day.

Breakfast: 6am to 10.30am; Lunch: 12 noon to 3.30pm (buffet available for both)

W Doha Hotel & Residences
Two restaurants, Market by Jean Georges an La Spiga will remain open for daytime meals during Ramadan. While Market by Jean Georges will serve both breakfast and lunch, La Spiga will serve only lunch.

Breakfast (Market by Jean Georges): 6am to 11am (buffet); Lunch (Market by Jean Georges and La Spiga): 12 noon to 4pm (a la carte)

The Torch Doha
Only lunch will be available at The Flying Carpet, a restaurant in one of Qatar’s most iconic tower hotels, The Torch, during Ramadan.

St. Regis Doha
Opal by Gordon Ramsay at St. Regis Doha offers breakfast and lunch options.

Hours during Ramadan:
Breakfast: 6am to 11am; Lunch: 12 noon to 4pm (buffet)

La Cigale
Le Central restaurant located on the second floor at La Cigale will be open for breakfast and lunch exclusively to non-Muslim guests and visitors.

Hours during Ramadan:
Breakfast: 6.30am to 11am; Lunch: 12noon to 3pm (a la carte for both)

Radisson Blu
All restaurants and nightclubs or bars serving alcohol (Maxim, Picasso, Tier 12, QUBE, Orion, Manhattan) will be closed all throughout Ramadan, however Hyde Park and Bistro Bistro will be open for breakfast and lunch.

Breakfast: 6am to 10.30am; Lunch: 12 noon to 3.30pm (There will be a  breakfast buffet at both restaurants; however at Bistro Bistro there will be a la carte lunch, while at Hyde Park a buffet is available)

The Ritz-Carlton Doha
The Lagoon at The Ritz-Carlton Doha will serve breakfast and lunch. However, the buffet will not be a very grand one. Food items will be limited owning to the Ramadan month.

Renaissance City Center Doha
Crossroads Kitchen will be open for breakfast and Cucina, which specializes in Italian cuisine will be open for lunch.

Breakfast (Crossroads Kitchen): 6am to 10.30am (buffet); Lunch (Cucina): 12 noon to 3pm (a la carte)

J&G Sandwich cellar
The British café will be serving a full range of hot meals and sandwiches during the day. Delivery is also available.
