Red Arrows pierce Doha’s sky

Red Arrows pierce Doha’s sky

With a thundering roar, Britain’s famous Red Arrows took to the Doha skies at 2.15pm today, leaving onlookers astounded.

Considered one of the world’s premier aerobatic teams, todays’ show was part of the Middle East tour. The team comprising seven red BAE Systems Hawk aircraft performed a series of precision formations and dynamic loops and rolls at the Doha Corniche. The show lasted for nearly 30 minutes.
The Red Arrows, officially known as Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, have been performing since 1960s. After Qatar, the team is expected to perform in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman and the UAE.
